All your paediatric neuropsychology needs from one team

Our services

Neuro Rehab

We provide neuropsychological neurorehabilitation for children and young people following brain injury to help maximise their potential.  We offer a holistic, trauma-informed approach including the children and everyone involved in supporting them: their families, carers, schools, the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Following an initial needs assessment, a formulation is developed that helps everyone involved in the child’s care to understand what has happened to them, what are the potential impacts of this and what can be done to support them to live the best life that they can.

Therapeutic interventions and goals derive directly from the formulation and can be varied, working both with the child directly and with those in the system supporting the child. Interventions can be focused, for example, on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS); supporting parents and teachers with different approaches in recognition that ‘traditional’ strategies may need to be adapted after a child has had a brain injury; and drawing on a range of specific therapeutic approaches tailored to the child’s neuropsychological needs.

Consultancy & Training

Training: We offer a range of teaching and training packages that can be adapted so they are bespoke to the unique needs of each child.  Sessions can focus on specific topics, such the neuropsychological sequelae of the child’s brain injury, developmental changes and how to intervene. or focus upon particular types of intervention or approaches and how to embed them in a whole system approach, such as Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

Consultancy: We offer focused consultation sessions to discuss and formulate a behaviour that challenges or to help develop a systemic understanding that facilitates multiple caregivers to share the same understanding and learn to respond in a consistent way.  Frequently a bespoke training session may follow a consultation.

Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we can tailor a package to suit you.

From initial event to ongoing intervention, we understand your child’s needs on every step of their development journey.
